BookJet

About

A marketplace to search, book, negotiate prices, and arrange details for private jets. Users select direction and details for their expected jet, and jet operators propose their offerings.

Challenge

Booking private jets is not something people do every day, so understanding user preferences required competitive research, secondary research, and interviews with jet company operators.

Result

Designed the complete client-facing iOS app for the first phase, covering all use cases: booking, chat with operator, price negotiation, and account management.

Trip Management

Users review their Accepted and In Progress trips. Booking jets should be done in advance, so a user may have many trip negotiations in progress simultaneously — each request is unique and requires careful handling.

Requesting & Filtering

The app allows creating a route with multiple legs. After submitting, offer collection begins — users are notified about new ones. Sorting and filtering with prediction analysis helps users find the right jet and cut unrelated offers.

Reviewing Offers

The results page shows different jet statuses that may affect decision-making: updated prices, reviewed offers, approval-required jets, and sold aircraft. Users can hide offerings and mark favourites.

Aircraft Details & Negotiation

Every offering includes aircraft details, photos, customer reviews, and recommended pricing. Users can message the operator, accept the price, or negotiate — with payment via card, funds balance, or bank transfer.
